This map charts the tax-exempt foundations in Turkey and the public corporations listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, connected via shared board membership.

Nodes represent institutions and individual board members; connections represent board affiliations. The dataset includes 350 public corporations, 234 tax-exempt foundations, and 3,310 board members.

The network is visualized using a self-organizing graph layout algorithm, which arranges nodes based on their relational proximity. This reveals central actors, indirect links, organic clusters, structural holes, and outliers. Clusters of tightly connected institutions expose super-institutions, entities that concentrate significant influence across sectors of Turkish society.
